This was an enormous deck that extended almost from corner to corner of the backside of this lovely home in Woodway. Our job was to restain the deck and railings, as well as the steps. Other contractors use chemicals to clean and then restain these types of projects. But that doesn’t address the real problems. Horizontal surfaces that get cold, heat, rain, snow and ice will continue to fail unless you renew the actual surface for new stain to stick to. You can’t simply wash away the weather. By sanding the deck surface down to bare wood, we re-surface and give the stain the opportunity to do what it needs to do- adhere to actual wood, clean and dry. Then it has the chance to stay put for more than just a year or two. Our deck jobs last up to 5years or more. We discovered a product that we know lasts, and perfected a method to ensure compliance.
